The Everything Space Fees and Accessibility Options:
Money is one of the languages of our culture. We acknowledge that living in a capitalist economy shapes our access to the many services and resources that sustain our lives. We acknowledge the various forms of systemic oppression and their impact on bodies. We hold accessibility as a core value and strive to make our services and classes as accessible as possible in multiple ways, and acknowledge that unfortunately, many "healing centered" services are not accessible for many bodies . And, we still live inside the capitalist economy, and also need to feed into that system at times to pay for the resources that sustain our lives. Here are some ways that we are relating to cost structure that attempts to hold a balance between the work that goes into offering you high level services and the access we believe in.
Service and classes are often offered on a sliding scale, or a tiered system.
Often, but not always, work trade or scholarship geared towards mutual aid/reparations/leveraging privilege are available.
Sometimes external grant options like VSAC are available.
Occasionally, payment plans are possible.

Sliding Scale/Tiered Pricing Systems/Accessibility options
The below guide shares a framing for our financial accessibility framework. Some of our offerings utilize an open sliding scale, allowing folks to find themselves within the range, and some of our offerings utilize at tiered sliding scale, offering a certain number of spots at designated tiers.
Tiered Pricing Guide:
This guide is based on and adapted with permission from "How to Make the Sliding Scale Better for You + Your Clients — (wortsandcunning.com)" and from Ride Free Fearless Money: Sliding Scale: Why, How, and Sorting Out Who.
The top price class ticket is the actual cost of the class. If you choose a ticket price below the top tier you are receiving a discount.
The middle price is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this class/session may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship.
The bottom price is for those who struggle to meet basic needs and paying for this class would still be a significant hardship.
The Pay-It-Forward price is above the actual cost of the class and that extra money goes towards supporting scholarships as well as future free and low-cost offerings. Essentially it's an opportunity to not only have a session/take a class but also support your fellow community members while you're at it. Sweet!

Tiered Pricing System for Amanda's One-on-One Somatic Sessions
*Because Amanda uses an online scheduler program for booking appointments, the various accessibility tiers are integrated into that system.
The listed price is the actual cost of the session.
- When scheduling, there are choices of "add'on's" that function as accessibility/pay it forward options. Simply assess where you fall into the tiered sliding scale (use green bottle image below for support), and click which tier "add on" makes sense for you.
The Supporting Community Access "add-on's" are aligned to the middle and bottom tiers described above. ($70/hr)

Financial Transparency from Amanda:
To be clear, these offers of accessibility are not based in my personal lack of financial need (For the last 5 years I (Amanda) have not made more than $25,000 gross income for the year). These offers are based in values of equity, accessibility and my identity as an anti-capitalist.
As many folks are still in learning about their positionality and privilege, which can make it tricky to accurately assess how much to pay, we wanted to offer a few resources and guides for supporting folks to more accurately assess their relationship to class and privilege.
“Class and economic justice are topics that lots of folks struggle to talk about in the United States because most of us we aren’t educated in schools and the culture at large to talk about money, access to resources, and what class actually is. Class, of course, cannot be understood as an isolated experience, but is part of the complex interactions of race, gender, ability, privilege, sexuality, and the myriad of identities we all hold. I think the sliding scale is a great way to begin a conversation about class because it frames the discussion from the standpoint of access." (wortsandcunning.com)
Though that process can go quite deep and take time to fully integrate, below is a tool that can be helpful to self-assess.
We have also found the Catalyst Project's class breakdown to be quite helpful.
Please assess and pay in the tier that honestly reflects where you are at.
Let's all give and receive the support that we need!
