SPUD CLUB!

SPUD CLUB is a mutual aid collective potato growing project.
There are multiple growing sites/nodes, some of which you can join as a member, or you can start your own node.

Spud Club Intentions:
  • To collectively share the work of planting/tending/harvesting of storage potatoes.
  • To grow for ourselves and/or others, with the intention of surplus to be able to distribute to support our collective food security.
  • To organize, as possible, community root cellar space to store potatoes.
  • To distribute surplus potatoes through a food justice lens, specifically to folks who are targeted through the current system and have less access to food.
  • To grow community through the pleasure and practice of working together.
  • To connect with the Earth and humans ancestral agricultural practices of growing food in community.
  • To have fun.
