Services for Individuals/Couples/Families
Every thought and experience we have is experienced through the body, including sensation, emotion, and movement.
Somatics is the act of listening to the body, which allows the wisdom of the body to be heard.
Somatics is a practice and skill set that can be learned.
Let us support you to access more of your body’s intelligence, discover more ease in movement, and boost your resilience.

Somatic Movement Education Sessions:
Our bodies are our first homes, from which we move, act, feel and engage with the world around us. Our connection to ourselves as body is impacted by our life experiences and directly influences our ability to have healthy relationships, homes, communities and cultures.
By cultivating a whole body awareness and living from and within that embodied experience, we begin to notice the patterns of stress and trauma in our lives and start to process them in different ways.
Sessions are for individuals, couples, partners, or families.
Sessions may include movement repatterning, bodywork or even a contact improv lesson.

Please consider attending for 3, 5 or 10 sessions so that an arc of learning and integration can occur.
"I had the great pleasure of working privately with Abbi. As someone who loves dancing but is not comfortable with a lot of contact, I needed to approach the practice of contact improvisation and touch gently. I could not have asked for a more skillful, compassionate and attuned guide. She led me through experiences that opened doors, possibilities, and deepened my connection to myself, to gravity and to other. I walked out of the beautiful Everything Space feeling greater ease, peace and openness." ~Fearn Lickfield, Green Mountain Druid School

Money is one of the languages of our culture. We acknowledge that living in a capitalist economy shapes our access to the many services and resources that sustain our lives. We acknowledge the various forms of systemic oppression and their impact on bodies. We hold accessibility as a core value and strive to make our services and classes as accessible as possible in multiple ways. And, we still live inside the capitalist economy, and also need to feed into that system at times to pay for the resources that sustain our lives. Here are some ways that we are relating to cost structure that attempts to hold a balance between the work that goes into offering you high level services and the access we believe in.
How to interpret our sliding scale:
We state the cost of the class/service while offering a sliding scale.
For example: Class series = Cost: $240 ($160-320 sliding scale available)
We believe the true cost of the course is $240, and we offer a sliding scale with a low range to make it accessible and a high range for community members who are able to give more to do so, to support those paying on the lower end of the scale. Please pay at the highest level of the sliding scale that you can afford. This supports others to access our services.
