Frequently Asked Questions

What do I wear to class?
Wear loose fitting clothing.  This could look like sweat pants, gym clothes, pajamas, or anything that you can comfortably move around in and that does not restrict your movement.

What happens when I come to my first class?
The teacher or host will greet you.  They will tell you where the bathroom is and invite you to sign in and to sign a waiver.  There is often an opening circle to begin a class.

Your space is a fragrance free.  Why is that and what does that mean?
We want this space to be accessible to as many people as possible. Thank you for your support in helping us welcome people who experience environmental sensitivity. Thank you for not putting on anything scented before coming to class to include essential oils, fragrances, scented lotions, perfumed hair products, and scented deodorants. We also refrain from spraying any smells in the air, lighting candles with scent, or burning anything with a strong scent.

Can I wear shoes in class?
You can bring indoor shoes to wear if needed.  This is generally a shoe free zone and if you need to wear shoes for your comfort and/or alignment needs, please do.

Is there a bathroom and shower?
We have one bathroom and it is gender neutral.  We do not have a shower.

Is the studio accessible?
The studio is regrettably not accessible by wheelchair.  It is on the third floor accessed by stairs.  Please be in touch if you would like to attend a class/event as we would like to support you in accessing the space if possible or looking into an alternative location for the class/event.  Contact Abbi: abbi.jaffe@gmail.com
