Reliable Legs - Help for your Knees and Ankles

November 23, 2019
10am - 12pm

Knee pain and stiff ankles affect many people, especially as we get older. What often happens is that our attention gets focused on areas that hurt or are uncomfortable - knees & ankles - without looking at the whole body. We then continue to move within our learned habits and are not aware how we can make a change. In this workshop we will explore novel ways to get movement into the joints without pain by using and becoming more aware of our whole body.

You will learn to heighten the sensations in your ankles and become able to bend your knees with much more ease. By improving the function of the ankles and knees, you will experience better balance and a steadier walk.

Join Uwe Mester for this 2-hour workshop and find out how Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement lessons® can make a big difference in your well-being and overall health. You do not need prior Feldenkrais® experience to enjoy this workshop.

Please bring a mat or blanket with you and wear warm comfortable clothes. Please register early by emailing movevt@gmail.com; there is only limited space.

$30 for the 2hr workshop. If this is financial burden, please contact Uwe at movevt@gmail.com.

Uwe has been a guild-Certified Feldenkrais practitioner® since 2005, with 10+ years of experience teaching Awareness Through Movement® group lessons and Functional Integration® private lessons. Before becoming a full-time Feldenkrais practitioner Uwe worked for 10+ years as a Social Worker (MA) & in Education (MA).
