Facilitator Rentals (Discontinued)
Join us to teach a class or host a workshop. We offer a membership based rental process to facilitators aligned with our mission.
Some private rentals are also available.
Our Rental Process:
We provide space to cultivate resilience, presence, and connection for any body through somatic and creative endeavors that engage the connection between body, community, and the earth.
Our intention for offering a rental process is to build long-term relationships that are mutually supportive with facilitators who provide skillful and accessible spaces for personal change and social transformation.
Through this lens, we rent to folks who are aligned with our mission of embodiment within a social change analysis, who are interested in investigating and leveraging their own privilege/enculturation, who can commit to twice a year in-house community building/training events*, and who want to grow and tend relationship to this place and it’s growing community.
Our process includes an initial facilitator membership application (below) and once accepted, recurring seasonal deadlines** for our facilitator members to rent the space for their offerings.
We aim to support facilitators in offering innovative and creative classes on a sliding scale or by donation basis, by setting the rental cost below market value and offering a myriad of marketing support to get the word out.
In acknowledging the global systems of oppression, we are currently in deep investigation and un/learning around decolonization/anti-colonial solidarity and cultural appropriation. Part of this work for us means knowing from where a particular practice comes, how it came to a particular person with a particular ancestry, but also generally what is the history/relationships between the various cultures. Some of the questions we ask ourselves and our facilitators are:
We work to make The Everything Space available for class modalities and practitioners that are aligned with this somatic social analysis and that are not currently offered in our community. This means we are not accepting applications for yoga at this time.
-Do you have an offering that aligns with our mission?
-Are you interested in building community and growing together over time?
We would love to learn more about you and your offering.
* We occasionally accept facilitators traveling from other places, in which case we forgo this in-service participation requirement.
**Application Deadlines: Please apply by the deadline for each session of programing.
Summer Programing (events happening July-end of Sept): Deadline is May 1
Fall Programming (events happening Oct 1 - Dec 31): Deadline is Aug 1
Winter Programming (events happening Jan-end of March): Deadline is Nov 1
Spring Programming (events happening April-end of June): Deadline is Feb 1
-Application Status Notifications: All applications for a particular programming session will be reviewed within two weeks after the deadline date. New applicants may be asked to go through an interview process.
-“Past Deadline” Requests: If you are submitting an application for an offering that would occur within a program session which has already begun (after the deadline for that session), it is possible that we may still be able to include you. “Past deadline” requests may take as long as one month to process. Thank you for your patience.

Some of the questions we ask ourselves and our facilitators are:
- What is your ancestry?
- What are the practices you are teaching, where do they come from, how were they passed on to you?
- What is the impact (both positive and negative) of you practicing them, for your students, as well as the larger community of humans?
- Do you charge for these services?
- If these practices are not from your lineage, are there ways you engage with reciprocity with the communities where that knowledge arises from?
- What are the struggles and challenges those communities face?
- What are the current and historical relationships between your social location/culture and the culture where your practice comes from?
- How does your practice challenge historical and current systems of oppression?
