Shake It Off

Picture
Learn more about Amy:
Amy Königbauer’s artwork is about relationships and she has been pursuing ways to facilitate exchanges between people with the work that she creates. Using vulnerability as a tool to allow for deeper connection between cooperative partners, she considers the physical nature of energy that is being exchanged while people work together. The process and production of her work often lends itself to ephemeral, intangible experiences, but she is still highly interested in the artistry involved in making, especially in creating work with others. Often when she make objects, they are used as props to facilitate an experience between people. These experiences are intended to reveal a sense of humanity, to heal or address the cultural wounds that run deep within us, and to allow us to slow down and appreciate the delicacy of human experience.
Mondays = Oct 9, Nov 13, and Dec 11 from 6 - 7:30pm
AND
Saturdays = Oct 28th and Nov 25th from 3-4:30pm
