Deepen Your Awareness : Re-Awaken Your Body

Picture
Amy LePage weaves together her backgrounds in Contact Improvisation, Therapeutic Yoga and Hanna- based Somatics to offer classes, workshops and individual sessions that explore deep internal listening and re-educating the moving, breathing body. She also brings this focus into her holistic childbirth preparation classes.

Tuesday evenings 4:40- 5:40pm
September 18-October 23 (6 week series)
with Amy LePage

This series is an excellent addition to any current exercise, yoga or other movement / athletic practice. The series is designed to enhance your quality of movement and the experience of living in your body.

RE-EDUCATE your muscles

TRAIN your brain

INCREASE mobility

IMPROVE posture

ENHANCE Coordination

REDUCE aches and pain.

Based on the work of Thomas Hanna, this series offers a safe, gentle practice that explores sensing and noticing our internal landscape, unraveling tension and holding patterns while re-educating the communication pathways between the brain and body. This allows for greater Freedom and Function in all the activities you love and want to continue to do throughout your life.

*This subtle movement practice takes place primarily on the floor – if you can’t comfortably be on the floor – please contact Amy before class as there are modifications to meet everyone’s needs*

Cost:
$60-$80 Sliding Scale for the 6 week series
