The Everything Space: A Celebration & Retrospective

On January 1st, The Everything Space will move from its beloved home on Main Street to a new location at 15 State Street.

To mark this transition, we invite you to join us for two celebratory events:

Final Contact Improvisation Jam: Wednesday, December 20th, 5:30-7:30pm
Let’s dance together and give thanks to the studio space! Opening circle at 5:45.

Community Potluck & Ritual: Friday, December 22nd, 6:30-8:30pm
Let’s gather and share a meal, then participate in a facilitated opportunity to reflect and share the ways that the space and emergent community have touched and transformed us.

Birthed as a dream of a community hub for somatics and social justice, The Everything Space came to be at its current location in 2014.  Abbi and Amanda worked to build a thriving community by offering diverse somatic practices from a range of amazing community facilitators.

• The Burning Times Never Ended with rain crowe,
• Emergent intelligence with Lucy Schmid and Lenna Wertenbaker,
• The Body as Language with Tessa Micaela,
• Archery with Murphy Robinson,
• Our Community Practices of Resilience (CPR’s),
• Natural Fitness with Abbi Jaffe,
• Breathwork with Cassandra Hanna,
• Authentic Movement, 
• A thriving CI scene with community meetings/learnings on navigating consent and privilege within the dance community,
• And so much more…

  
The vision of being a somatics and social justice community hub/space rental/community practitioner incubator was amazing, but sadly, it was not sustainable financially or energetically. 

We have so much gratitude for this space, which birthed many offerings, programs, and private practices that will continue to grow in other locations.

While we have loved the beauty of our current space, we eagerly look forward to finding beauty and sustainability at our new studio on 15 State Street. 

We are also SO EXCITED to share that our new space is ADA accessible space, which has been a values-tension we have held since the beginning. 

It's feeling good to be more in alignment! ​​

Please RSVP to the final ceremony using this Google Form. There will be options within the form to participate in a Tribute Video or share some love in writing. Please RSVP even if you cannot come.  
Covid Details: PLEASE MASK and/or TEST BEFORE COMING.  There will be air filters in each space we’ll inhabit together. Please don’t come if you are sick or symptomatic.

Video Tribute

As part of honoring all The Everything Space has supported over the years, we would like to create a video tribute. Whether you are able to attend the gathering or not, we would love for you to be included! You will be prompted to record a short message about what The Everything Space has meant to you.
